Web-plicity is a brand of Tri-plicity LLC ("we", "us"). By using Web-plicity's website or services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Web-plicity designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for small businesses on a subscription basis. We provide a free homepage mockup before any payment is required.
The free homepage mockup is our work and remains Web-plicity's property. You're welcome to review it and share your feedback with us, but you may not use, copy, or publish it unless you subscribe. There's no obligation to subscribe.
Your plan includes unlimited content updates: changing text, swapping or adding images, and publishing new content such as blog posts, within your existing site design. We aim to complete them within about one business day.
Content updates don't include redesigns, new site features, or major structural changes. We're happy to quote those separately. We may ask to talk if requests become unusually frequent or large.
Prices are in US dollars. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at signup. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
If you're not happy, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment by emailing us. After that, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
We may change our prices. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and it will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
You retain ownership of the content you provide us (text, images, logos) and of your domain name.
Your website's design, code, and the platform and hosting it runs on are built and maintained by us as part of your subscription, and they remain Web-plicity's property. While you're subscribed, you have the right to use your website. If you cancel, your site goes offline and the design does not transfer to you, but we'll help you export your content.
You agree not to use our services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, or to host content that infringes on others' rights.
You're responsible for the content and materials you give us, including text, photos, logos, and fonts, and you confirm you have the right to use them. If you want us to use a licensed font or image, you're responsible for providing the license. We may decline or remove anything we believe is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
If you cancel, your website will be taken offline at the end of your billing period. Within 30 days after your plan ends, you can ask us for an export of your content - the text, images, and files from your website. The export doesn't include the website's design or code.
We may suspend or end your service if a payment fails and isn't resolved after we've notified you, or if you break these terms. We'll give you notice where we reasonably can. If we end your service for a reason other than your breach, we'll refund the unused part of your current billing period.
Web-plicity provides its services "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our services, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email.
